Baird’s 2024 Branch Leader of the Year, Joseph, joined Baird in 2022 through the Hefren-Tillotson acquisition, bringing with him nearly three decades of experience in the financial services industry. Over the course of his career in the industry, he has built a strong foundation in branch leadership, advisor support, and business development, including 15 years with Merrill Lynch and six years with Raymond James.

Throughout his professional journey. Joseph has always approached leadership with an advisor-first mindset, working to remove obstacles, create opportunities, and ensure advisors have the support, tools, and strategic guidance needed to succeed. That commitment to advocacy has been a defining theme of his leadership and was recognized in 2025 when he earned Baird’s Branch Leader of the Year award for his steadfast support of his office.

Joseph also brings an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset to his work. He partners closely with all associates in his branch, to help them scale their practices, optimize business operations, and deepen client relationships. He is passionate about building environments where advisors can grow with confidence, serve clients at the highest level, and pursue long-term success in ways that are both strategic and sustainable. His leadership is grounded in collaboration, practical problem-solving, and a genuine commitment to helping others achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Joseph enjoys spending time with his family, and watching sports, with a special interest in women’s basketball and soccer. He also values staying connected to his heritage and spends appreciable time each year traveling to Africa to reconnect with his roots—an experience that continues to shape his perspective, values, and appreciation for community and connection.
